Nigel Stones was born in the UK and came to his home, Australia, when he was fourteen. Some years have passed since he arrived in this fair land. 

Life has not been unkind to him and he finds himself married with two daughters, a decent roof over his head and some small measure of time to spend on the challenge of writing speculative fiction. 

His first exposure to S.F. was as a teenager reading Arthur C. Clarke. These days he prefers to read fantasy. 

When he hasn't got either a pen or a book in his hand, he is equally at home holding a fishing rod, spade, hammer or a beer.
